Effective January 01, 2012 Basic Dues will increase $2.00 for ALL membership types and classifications.

UNION PLUS SCHOLARSHIP

Since 1992, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $2.4 million to students of working families who want to begin or continue their post-secondary
education. The annual deadline is usually the last day of January.

IBEW FOUNDER' SCHOLARSHIP

The IBEW Founders' Scholarship is awarded to MEMBERS ONLY. Awards will be based on academic achievement, potential, character, leadership, social awareness and career
goals. The application needs to be postmarked by May 01, 2010 and mailed to: IBEW FOUNDERS; SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE at 900 Seventh ST NW, Washington, DC 20001.

www.ibew.org); there is a link on the right side of the home page near the bottom for eligibility rules and an application. You may also get an application from the Local Union office.


LINECO (OUTSIDE CONSTRUCTION) MEMBER REGISTRATION

This is a reminder that on the Lineco web site (www.lineco.org) the plan participants can now view their current eligibility, employee hours worked, claims history including explanation of benefits (EOBS) and all deductibles and plan maximums satisfied year-to-date for both medical and dental. Please pass this information on to your members thru any newsletters or other notices that may be available.  So far only a small percentage of employees have registered and are taking advantage of reviewing their personal Lineco claim and eligibility information.

WORKERS AND SURVIVORS

Current and former members who have been employed at a DOE facility such as Los Alamos National
Labs or Sandia Labs can talk to a caseworker from the Energy Employees Compensation Resource Center.
